Wounds of Humanity — A Collection Exploring the Human Condition
Iccha Manav Bajaj was featured in .Cent Magazine’s fashion feature, Love for Fashion During Our Summer, highlighting emerging designers and collections from the international fashion scene.
The feature spotlighted Iccha’s graduate collection, “WOUNDS OF HUMANITY,” presented as part of Istituto Marangoni London’s BA Fashion Design graduate showcase, Decoded Identities. The showcase brought together designers exploring identity, personal narratives, material experimentation and new approaches to fashion.
WOUNDS OF HUMANITY
Through Wounds of Humanity, Iccha Bajaj explores the complexities of the human experience through fashion. The collection forms part of her exploration of identity, emotion and the marks that experiences can leave behind.
Rather than treating clothing simply as something worn, the collection approaches fashion as a visual language — using silhouette, texture, construction and material to communicate ideas that extend beyond the garment itself.
The collection was presented alongside the work of other graduating designers at Istituto Marangoni London, whose final collections were developed around the theme of identity and individual expression.
