Any approved return or exchange must be unworn, unused and unaltered, with its original tags, components and packaging.

BONJ reserves the right to refuse a discretionary return if the product has been worn, damaged, washed, altered or returned incomplete.

A manufacturing fault is a construction or material issue that prevents the product from matching its description or functioning as intended.

Expected variations in hand dyeing, washing, reclaimed material, pleating, stitching, embroidery, raw edges or handmade finishing are part of the individuality of the piece and are not normally considered faults.

Shipping to and from BONJ for an approved discretionary return or exchange must be paid by the customer.

If a product is confirmed to be genuinely faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or misdescribed, BONJ will follow the applicable requirements for return shipping.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time after BONJ releases the refund.

Yes. A refundable security deposit equal to the full retail price of the piece is required before dispatch.

All return arrangements should be confirmed before the piece is dispatched.

Yes. Normal professional cleaning is included in the rental fee.

Please do not wash, dry-clean, alter or attempt to repair a rental piece yourself. Simply return it to BONJ after wearing it.

The piece should be returned with all its components and accessories in the condition in which it was supplied, allowing for reasonable wear from normal use.

BONJ photographs and documents every rental piece before dispatch and checks it again after return.

Repairable damage or excessive cleaning may be deducted from the security deposit according to the reasonable cost of restoring the piece.

Major stains, tears, burns, broken hardware, permanent marks, missing components or irreversible alterations may result in part or all of the retail value being retained.

If the piece is lost, not returned or damaged beyond reasonable repair, it may be treated as sold and the full retail value may be retained from the security deposit.

Contact BONJ immediately if a delay occurs.

Additional rental or late-return charges may apply, particularly if the delay affects another booking. The deposit may be held until the piece has been returned and inspected.

Please do not cut, stitch, pin, tape or permanently alter a rental piece unless BONJ has approved the adjustment in writing.

Yes. Every BONJ petwear piece is designed and made with the dog’s comfort, movement and ease as a priority.

However, every dog is different. Comfort can vary depending on the dog’s body, coat, sensitivity, personality and previous experience with clothing.

Some dogs that regularly wear clothing or accessories may adjust almost immediately. Dogs that have never worn clothing before may need a little more time to understand and get used to the feeling.

This does not necessarily mean that the garment is uncomfortable. Like anything unfamiliar, some dogs simply need a gentle introduction.

Let your dog see and smell the piece before putting it on. Begin with short periods at home and gradually increase the wearing time as your dog becomes familiar with it.

No. BONJ does not use animal leather or wool.

Where a design would traditionally rely on an animal-derived material, we work with considered non-animal alternatives.

BONJ works to reduce material waste through limited production, made-to-order construction, careful pattern planning and the reuse of offcuts.

Usable remnants may be transformed into patchwork, woven surfaces, trims, accessories, sampling materials or entirely new objects.

Limited production allows us to avoid unnecessary overproduction and dead stock while giving each piece the time and attention it requires.

It also allows BONJ to create more individually rather than producing large quantities of identical garments.

THE 5% FUND

Five percent of every completed BONJ order goes towards helping stray dogs and cats in India.

Every BONJ piece contributes to something beyond itself.

The fund may support rescue, emergency treatment, surgeries, medication, food, vaccination, sterilisation, rehabilitation and trusted rescuers or animal-welfare organisations working on active cases.

Not at this stage. The current priority is supporting animals and active cases that need help now.

Creating a dedicated rescue and rehabilitation space remains part of BONJ’s long-term vision.

BONJ intends to share periodic updates about the animals, cases and forms of support funded through this commitment wherever it is safe and appropriate to do so.
