Product description

A monumental puffer constructed from approximately 20 metres of vegan leather, each surface is individually hand-manipulated, punctured, textured and worked until the material takes on an almost organic, wounded skin. The exaggerated quilting, distorted proportions and dramatically extended sleeves turn a familiar menswear puffer into a sculptural keepsake something made to be preserved rather than simply worn.

Taking over a month of intensive handwork approximately 200+ hours the piece is built slowly by hand, allowing irregularities, loose threads, indentations and variations in texture to remain visible as evidence of its making. Its immense volume contrasts with the distressed surface, creating a silhouette that feels protective, confrontational and fragile at the same time.

Raw materiality

We prioritize tactile density. Our premium denim is woven on low-tension vintage shuttle looms, deliberately preserving the natural slub and organic irregularities of the indigo thread. This makes each structural layer completely unique.

The geometry of the cut

Every garment begins with a structural challenge: how does heavy rigid fabric respond to human motion? We continuously test the boundaries of textile gravity, stripping back decorative embellishments to let the pure, uncompromised silhouette speak for itself.

ORDERS & PAYMENT

Are BONJ pieces made to order?

Most BONJ pieces are individually made after an order is placed or produced in very limited quantities. We will do our best to prepare and dispatch your piece as soon as possible, while coordinating with you from confirmation to dispatch.

How long will my order take to make?

Please allow a minimum of 15–20 days for your piece to be made, finished and prepared for dispatch. Highly detailed, hand-manipulated or custom pieces may take longer.

Delivery begins after dispatch and varies depending on the destination country and courier service.

How will I know if my order has been confirmed?

You will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or contact BONJ with your name and payment details.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us immediately after placing your order. We will try to accommodate your request if production has not begun, but changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

Once production has started on a custom-sized, altered or personalised piece, it may no longer be possible to change or cancel the order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods available for your location will be displayed at checkout.

Which currency will I be charged in?

Use the country and currency selector to view the available pricing for your location. The final amount and currency will always be shown before payment.

Your bank may separately charge currency-conversion or international transaction fees.

Are taxes included?

Any taxes collected by BONJ will be displayed at checkout. International customers may need to pay customs duties, import taxes or local charges separately unless checkout specifically states that duties are included.

Will my piece look exactly like the product image?

The design and main details will remain consistent, but no two handmade BONJ pieces will be completely identical.

Slight variations in dye, wash, reclaimed fabric placement, stitching, pleating, embroidery, raw edges and hardware positioning are part of the handmade process and make every piece individual.

SIZING & CUSTOM FIT

Are BONJ clothes unisex?

Yes. BONJ garments are designed around form, proportion and movement rather than conventional gender categories.

Please refer to the measurements provided in the size chart when selecting your size. If you are unsure, contact us and we will be happy to help.

Where can I find the size chart?

The relevant size chart will be available beside the size selector or within the Size & Custom section of the website.

Please also check the individual garment measurements provided on each product page.

Is custom sizing available?

Custom sizing is available for selected BONJ pieces. Choose “Custom Size” on an eligible product and submit the measurements requested for that particular design.

Our team will confirm the measurements and any possible changes before production begins.

What if I am unsure how to measure myself?

Contact BONJ before submitting your order. We can guide you through the measurements required for your selected piece.

For highly structured or complex garments, we may recommend taking the measurements with the help of a local tailor.

What happens if I submit incorrect measurements?

Custom pieces are made using the measurements you provide, so please check every measurement carefully before submitting the form.

If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We will try to update the measurements if production has not begun, but changes cannot be guaranteed once work has started.

If something appears inconsistent, the BONJ team may contact you before beginning production. Alterations required because of incorrect submitted measurements may involve additional alteration and shipping charges.

Can I change my measurements after placing the order?

Once production has started, changes may not be possible.
